Welcome to the Horizon Achievement Centre, a vocational training and employment service centre for adults with intellectual disabilities or those facing multiple barriers to employment, residing within the Cape Breton Regional Municipality.
Our mandate is to promote and enhance the independence, choice and employability of those we serve. We accomplish this through training and employment opportunities in various on-site and off-site businesses, services and programs all designed to enhance individual growth, personal achievement and employment potential.

Our Hockey Pool is back for the 2024-2025 season. It runs as a 50/50 based on number of pools sold. An email went out yesterday to all last years members, please note you won`t be able to register online but instead sent us an email and we will get you the form.
$10 an entry

We had a Chair Yoga session with @blivelyyoga this morning. We received funding through the Community Health Board Wellness Fund to offer a series of yoga sessions, this being the first of many.

The Centre is closed today but the Steel Grounds Grab & Go down at the Port is open today, stop by and grab a coffee and snack while you stroll the boardwalk.
